This new regular water service along the Grand Canal is for everyone who wishes to visit the city in an original and relaxed way. The multimedia equipment on board will offer audio and video focus points on the city and its arts heritage along the entire route.

With the Vaporetto dell'Arte you can reach the main historical and artistic places of interest and the main museums and exhibitions: the heart of what the city has to offer, comfortably seated and immersed in a relaxing atmosphere.

The service will start on 1 June 2012

You'll be able to get on and off the waterbus as you like, to visit the most important museums and exhibitions organized by Venice's institutions that take part in the initiative, with some great facilitations and benefits to discover.

The route leaves from the Santa Lucia railway station (Ferrovia) stop ("E") every 30 minutes and ends at San Giorgio Maggiore Island (until 28 August) and Giardini Biennale (from 29 August until 25 November 2012)

INFORMATION ON TICKETS

• Standard ticket valid for 24 hours from validation, only valid on the Vaporetto dell'Arte: 24,00 €
• Concession ticket 15,00 €; for children aged 6 to 11, organized groups of a minimum of 20 people (price per person) and disabled people in a wheelchair (a helper is included). Also this ticket is valid for 24 hours and is valid only on the Vaporetto dell'Arte.
  
• Ticket bought in conjunction with the time-limited ACTV tourist tickets (12, 24, 36, 48, 72 hour, 7-day and 3-day Youth Card: Rolling Venice): 10,00 €
  Buying the Vaporetto dell'Arte ticket together with the time-limited ACTV tourist ticket must take place at the same time, with issuance of one ticket, the validity of which is the same as the time-bound tourist ticket.
