The cities and towns of the hinterland propose events all year round, mainly cultural and traditional/folkloristic or gastronomic events: art exhibitions, theatre and film series, traditional events like fairs, patron saint festivals and historical commemorations.

Particularly worth mentioning: the art exhibitions at the Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery or at the Metallic Room at the Cultural Centre L. Da Vinci in San Donà di Piave, the historical commemoration "Patto d'Amistà", taking place on August 7th in the same town as well as in Musile di Piave, the "Fiera del Rosario" (big Patron Saint Festival) in October in San Donà di Piave, the well known Ceggia's Carnival, the traditional "St. Valentine" Festival in Musile di Piave in February, the theatre series in San Donà, Noventa and Fossalta di Piave, the prestigious cooperation in the last years of Noventa di Piave's Municipality with the Finnish Academy for Santa Claus' Helpers, the painting exhibitions at the Museum of Landscape in Torre di Mosto.
